Although I feel a bit overwhelmed by the 10-year anniversary media onslaught, I contributed to the collective din. Here is a short piece I wrote for The Reporter on my memories of that day, and the strange disconnect of remembering such a huge event prior to the days of social media. I’m not sure the piece actually captures what I was trying to say, but it was an attempt, at least.
